How Decisive Are you?
Indecisiveness is a very common trait. Although some people can be quick to make judgements and decisions, others can struggle to weigh up the options, or perhaps even avoid making the decision at all!
This questionnaire has been designed to establish your level of trait ambivalence. Trait ambivalence looks more specifically at the thoughts and feelings underlying someone’s judgement and decision making; or indeed, a lack thereof. Therefore, a person’s ability to make a quick decision, relies on their level of trait ambivalence.

High Trait Ambivalence
Your results show that you have high trait ambivalence. This means that when it comes to making decisions, you look at both sides of the situation weighing up all the different options. Although this may make you appear indecisive on the surface, it simply means that you are less one-sided in your thinking and make less biased judgements about others. However, having high levels of ambivalence means that generally, you take longer to make decisions or may avoid making them altogether!
Moderate Trait Ambivalence
Your results show that you have moderate levels of trait ambivalence. This means that when it comes to making decisions, you can look at both sides of the situation, however, you have the ability to make quick decisions if necessary.
Low Trait Ambivalence
Your results show that you have low trait ambivalence. Low trait ambivalence generally means that you make decisions very quickly. However, this may mean that you don't take the time to look at both sides of a situation and can sometimes come to a decision without thinking through the potential consequences of it.
